이웃에서 누군가 피아노를 치며 노래를 한다.
썩 잘 부른다고 할 수는 없지만, 미성의 목소리를 가진 남자의 열창을 라이브로 듣기가 어디 쉬운 일일까.

선선한 하루였는데. 줄곧 책상머리에 앉아 있는데. 집중은 되지 않고.
하지 않아도 될 일 같은데나 정신을 팔려버리고. 한편 조급한 마음에 시계를 보니 오후 4시구나.

기분을 풀어보려고. 바람좀 쏘여보려고. 인심좀 써보자고.
곧 채비를 하고 나가야 할 것 같다.

자투리 시간이 버거워 어쩔줄 모르다, 창밖에서 들려오는 노랫소리를 듣고 마음이 누그러짐.
